As per usual Winter Training will commence on Saturday 2nd November 2019 and end on Saturday 28th March 2020. As with the Summer Training this will be managed through a Doodle Poll. Last year we had a few cancellations in January and February but when the conditions allowed those who wished to ride met as usual at Strawberry Fields and a suitable ride duration and end location was agreed on the day depending on turnout and the weather forecast.
As last year we have decided to put winter training times back 30 minutes to assist those travelling to Strawberry Fields Café and to give the roads a little longer to dry out.
So you should arrive at Strawberry Fields around 10.00am for a 10.30am start to training.
Winter Training is entirely optional and we have no wish to suggest that you should continue to ride through the winter months if you do not wish to do so.
You can indicate your intention to attend on the Doodle Poll and please keep an eye out through the usual channels for notifications that training has been cancelled if that should prove necessary. Here's hoping for a cancellation free winter!
