SAS Social Ride - Hosted by Bev Green

Forget the image that an SAS ride may conjure up! In this case it stands for Scenery Appreciation Society ride starting in Ripon Town Centre, meeting at 9:30 for a start at 10am. Taking in Wensleydale, winding our way around Hawes then to Ribblesdale, Littondale and Nidderdale. We pass by Whernside, Ingleborough and see two different sides of Pen y Ghent, the Ribblehead viaduct and Kilnsey Crag. We will be riding a variety of roads from well known biking routes to lesser known single tracks.

Coffee stop at Aysgarth, lunch at Studfold. Options for the route back but if we make it back to Risplith near Ripon in time, GTs ice cream parlour serves lovely homemade ice cream. Around 90 miles round trip. A nice relaxed ride taking in the scenery - all welcome including pillions.
