Training Update from Steve Potts

Summer 2021 will see some changes to the training team at ARNY as our Training Officer since 2015, Ian Speight, has decided to stand down from the role. As many of you will know Ian set up “Ian Speight Advanced Rider Training” a few years ago and this has been a great success, keeping him extremely busy – unfortunately this has made it difficult for Ian to commit the time that he would like to ARNY, hence his decision.

Everyone at ARNY would like to thank Ian for his commitment and support as Training Officer to date and we all wish Ian continued success with this business and hopefully we will see him back in the Tutor team in the future when his workload allows.

Rather than replace the Training Officer post we have decided to manage training through the Advanced Tutor Team. There is a wealth of experience within this team, who have all been closely involved in supporting the Training Officer, and this team will now be responsible for continuing to develop and manage the training programme at ARNY. Together with the whole tutor team we will continue to deliver the very high standard of training that is the cornerstone of Advanced Riders North Yorkshire.
