Look Back at November
With summer coming to a close November saw a slight down turn in training, but that said, we still had six associates sharing 10 sessions involving nine Tutors; well done everyone for not giving in to the declining weather conditions.
November also saw another new member join us; Andy E from York joined on the 6th and has already completed his initial session. Welcome to the group Andy.
Between 17th and 21st November, ARNY Training Officer Ian Speight worked the Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC in Birmingham. Ian works some of the year as a Tour Leader for Motorrad Tours who are part of the World of BMW partnership. He worked on the BMW stand at the show, talking to customers about all things BMW; tours and bikes in general. Ian has been with Motorrad Tours for three years and was joined this year by fellow ARNY Advanced Tutor Phill Bates.
On 22nd November the Tutor Team got together to review this years training and to start the planning for 2019. We will be training more tutors over the winter to cater for our increasing membership as well as looking at ways to improve what we do, introducing Tutor Teams and generally ensuring we continue to give the best training possible, week in, week out.
And that just about rounds things up for November, not our busiest month and things will inevitably quieten down as winter takes hold. As always, we will be training throughout the winter months and remember that our winter start time is now 10am at the café, not 9.30.
Thanks for reading and take it easy out there. On behalf of ARNY I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
