ARNY Covid -19 Update 20th May

I hope that you are all keeping well and I am sure that some of you will be taking advantage of the Government’s slight relaxation of movement and getting out on your bikes. You are now allowed to ride a motorcycle "to any open spaces" with no limit on the distance but this should ideally be done only with members of your immediate household or with one other, provided you maintain social distancing.

From ARNY’s standpoint we will be guided by RoSPA and return to training when their advice says that it is safe to do. RoSPA’s current advice remains unchanged with no training allowed until at least the end of May 2020 to ensure social distancing. This will be re-assessed as the Government updates its advice.

We are putting in place proposals and risk assessments for when we are allowed to return to training but as you will appreciate at the moment we do not know what form that will take. We are assuming that 1 to 1 training will be allowed first with group training and meetings unfortunately still some time away.

We will of course update the situation as necessary.
