Look Back at July

Another busy, busy month for ARNY. Not sure if the recent good weather played its part but 13 members 'enjoyed' a total of 28 training sessions between them which involved all 11 tutors at some point or another. A great achievement by all involved; keep up the momentum everyone!

Membership continues to grow with another new member, Duncan Fraser, joining us. Welcome to the group Duncan; I look forward to meeting you at training soon.

Three ARNY members took their tests in July and I'm pleased to report they all passed achieving two silvers and a gold between them. Congratulations to Simon Wilson (silver) Michael Golding (silver) and Tim Bottom (Gold)

Tutor Adam Abel led the July social ride but some late cancellations meant an amended route was taken.....reduced to ONLY 230 miles! A good day was still had by those who attended and they managed to dodge nearly all of the rain.

Away from ARNY but still bike related, Chairman, Steve Potts and his wife Ann enjoyed a short tour around Lincolnshire and Training Officer, Ian Speight and his partner Kim have been on a European tour to Italy.

It's also clear from members Facebook posts that July saw many of you getting plenty of miles in on your bike; enjoying days out, weekends away and putting your new skills into practice. Great work!

So, all in all, another full and active month for ARNY members and tutors. Keep up the good work everyone!
