Updated RoSPA Guidance

Please see updated guidance from ROSPA below: Dear Chairman and Secretary, As you will know, RoSPA has had to make a lot of alterations to its operations over the past week, not least moving all of its HQ staff to remote working, and postponing in-car tutoring and tests until after the end of May. I just want to thank you again for your patience and ongoing support throughout this evolving situation. RoSPA is taking its lead from the latest Government advice, particularly with regards to social distancing. As such, we’ve now taken the decision that all motorcycle tutoring and testing booked in before the end of May should be postponed. Any riders due to take their retest during this time wil

Update as of March 21st: Dear All, The Government yesterday strengthened and extended its advice on social distancing and instructed cafe’s, pubs and clubs to close from Friday evening. Although RoSPA has not as yet changed its guidance ARNY has decided that all training, including 1:1 rides should cease forthwith. Look back at February

Following some riding friendly weather in January, February was somewhat different! Although the weather was above average in terms of temperatures it was also very windy and exceptionally wet with average rainfall ranging from double to four times the seasonal average across the UK. The arrival of Storm Ciara followed closely by Storm Dennis added to the fun with the latter causing training to be cancelled on February 15th. Whilst it was a relatively quiet month, despite the periods of rain and wind, training continued as usual for the rest of the month.
