Social Ride - East Coast Loop Sunday 28th July

The ARNY July social ride created and led by John Neaves, we will start and finish at Seaways. Meeting at 9:30 for a 10am start with a full tank of fuel. The route is 125 miles and is basically a loop that goes east to Hornsea, up the coast via Flamborough to Scarborough and back to Seaways via Thornton Dale and Malton. We'll be having lunch at Scarborough (fish & chips on the seafront if the weather is good) and there'll be the usual morning coffee stop and an afternoon stop for ice cream. We won't be having lunch in a castle this time out but there will be lots of twisty roads, fabulous coastal scenery and warm sunshine (John said, subject to availability). We should be back at Seaways by

Look Back at June

June was another very busy month for ARNY with some very busy and well attended training days. The weather was not always what is expected in June, with some very heavy rain at times, but plenty of great opportunities for excellent rides in between. Throughout the month there were a very impressive 35 training sessions with 15 Associates. Despite the high level of training the additional Tutor numbers have worked well in helping to ensure Tutor and Associate numbers are well balanced. The new Associate Training Logbook is now being rolled out and being well received. On the 23rd June the “Grand Tour” social ride was very well supported and certainly did not disappoint!
