Hello and welcome to a fairly short ‘Looking Back’ article for February. Unfortunately due to the freezing temperatures and overnight frosts, we were forced to cancel two out of the four training Saturdays in February, meaning as a group only four associates managed any training; well done to those hardy souls and the tutors who accompanied them. On the plus side, we have had two new members join us, Kevin Walker and Alistair Campbell; a warm welcome to you both. In 2016 RoSPA rebranded and reorganised. This required the local groups to do the same and over the last 18 months the committee have spent many hours working behind the scenes to gain our new accreditation. This week, ARNY received its certificate to confirm it has been re-accredited as a RoSPA advanced riding group. This new status is a strong platform for ARNY to continue to grow with the support of RoSPA and our sister groups around the UK.
